Melvor Idle is inspired by RuneScape: it keeps the core of an adventure game and strips it down to its purest form. You level more than 20 skills, from woodcutting and fishing to combat, and they keep progressing while you are away. A game like it needs skills or heroes to level, gear, and progress that does not stop when you close the game.
